- Geeks Anonymous
One of the company owners is also the proud founder and president of Geeks Anonymous. This group was started in 1995 by Stephen Olesen and a number of other geeks. Since then, it hasn't grown much, but it still exists and has become nearly synonymous with Stephen.

qmail is a modern SMTP server which makes sendmail obsolete, written by Dan Bernstein. qmail is a secure package.
- mnoGoSearch
mnoGoSearch (formerly known as UdmSearch) is a full-featured web search engine software for intranet and internet servers. mnoGoSearch for UNIX is a free software covered by the GNU General Public License and mnoGoSearch for Windows is a commercial search software version.

In running this website and maintaining our business, we use a number of different software systems and hardware. This is a short list of some of the most influential.

Linux is a free Unix-type operating system originally created by Linus Torvalds with the assistance of developers around the world. Developed under the GNU General Public License , the source code for Linux is freely available to everyone.
- The Apache Software Foundation
Some of the software we use which is written by The Apache Software Foundation include the Apache Web Server, Jakarta Tomcat and miscellaneous smaller programs.
- PHP - Portable Hypertext Preprocessor
PHP is a programming/scripting language designed for embedded scripting within HTML documents. Everything on the NetMonks website is based around PHP. It is quickly becoming the leading programming language for web based systems.
