Well, this comes down to the fact that we are reachable by a number of other telephone type systems that do not involve a classic telephone of any sort. So, to make it all clear, we list this as Regular Telephone.
Direct Connect™ / TELUS Mike™: Direct Connect™ is a service available to TELUS and Nextel subscribers in Canada and the USA. It provides a two way radio type of connection between any two service users. It allows for quick conversations and other handy features.
FreeWorld Dialup (FWD): FreeWorld Dialup is a service provided by Pulver which allows Voice Over IP connections to be assigned a public number and thereby not require any manual intervention between two parties to talk to one another. They also provide a home-style service which lets you have a regular phone attached to your FWD number.
Internet Relay Chat (IRC): Internet Relay Chat is a popular method of talking with other people over the Internet.
