NetMonks Consulting Corporation was founded with a few basic goals. These goals are:

• to improve integration of the various technologies in use at any given organization;
• to work closely with companies wishing to expand their abilities and business through technology;
• to help the users of technology become more familiar with what they are using and why;
• to assist others in developing knowledge and competence in an ever-changing world.

In pursuing these goals, the two founders, Mark Fossen and Stephen Olesen, continue to advance their knowledge and experience by constantly experimenting with new technologies, their uses and their abuses. It is common to find new technologies being used in ways which contradict their purpose or which provide much more than is needed for a particular task. By determining the proper use, and avoiding the abuse of technologies, we are able to better select appropriate technologies for a company.

By learning new things every day and being unafraid to try new technologies within the company, NetMonks is quick to adapt and adopt technologies which may still be outside of mainstream use. This is where NetMonks excels. We provide services which we feel most other consulting companies are not capable of providing due to their reluctance or inability to try new technologies in a corporate setting.

By testing and trying out methods within our own company before implementing them into a client's business critical environment, we can be confident in the service we are providing and in the methods we choose to implement. For every piece of software or hardware a client is running, NetMonks has carefully tested and reviewed the item before determing it worthy for business critical services.

In promoting new ideas to a company, NetMonks strives to explain all the benefits without ignoring the drawbacks. It is entirely true that any solution comes with a set of included problems. We do our best to make sure the client understands these new problems and how they may be addressed before we implement a full technology solution.

The Growth

Since inception, NetMonks has grown to encompass even more services and technologies than were originally conceived. We have expanded in both size and range, with dedicated employees and dedicated public services.

We believe the key to growth within a company isn't making the most money. We believe the key is in keeping customers happy and excited, as well as maintaing good internal corporate structure and image. In doing so, we provide as many services as possible targeted to a client's business. If they need something we cannot provide, or for which we are not the best suited consultants, we do not hesitate to refer the client to a partner company which we know and trust.

The Future

We strive to improve daily upon our customer service and relations, provide learning opportunities for new employees and people new to the technology industry, as well as improving upon existing installations as new approaches are discovered.

Within the realm of research, NetMonks is also pursuing a number of projects to bring about new methodologies of application integration, mobile computing and security.
